Welcome to the IIS Snap-In
Foreword: The screenshot to the right of this paragraph is what your IIS Snap-in will look like if you followed the previous tutorials exactly. The Internet Information Services (IIS) Snap-in may look like it has very few options and that I am wasting my time writing a series of tutorials on how to configure it in the first place. Those who are not intimidated by the seemingly small amount of options the IIS Snap-In offers are completely incorrect. Internet Information Services offers such a large selection of options and configurations that I could potentially write a humongous web site of almost never ending tutorials on all of the possibilities. Internet Information Services offers as many, if not more, options that the famous Apache web server (Only for Windows 2000 Advanced Server and Windows 2003 Enterprise Server edition does IIS have more options).
